although it may be an earlier model.....

possibly a road "mighty" crankset

I though all the 'mighty' cranks had the arms machined out, those ^^^ are just scalloped

^^^^^i believe that we have just discovered the essential difference between just being mighty and SUPER mighty - i guess the blindingly obvious analogy would be record and super record.

@gizmond nicely noticed man! the machining on the arms does look a lot more pronounced - perhaps an aftermarket weightsaving ploy

That's a lovely little frame. Scapin make beautiful bikes and are very rare over here. I've never seen a track frame from them before. Shame it's way too small for me.

to be honest its all a bit of a mess, i dont think well structured progressions are a japanese strongpoint - have you tried to follow the plot of godzilla?..
