You've got those bar end wing mirrors, so fucking jealous...
How practical is it for everyday riding, I was only on it for half an hour, forty mins, not sure about the long term comfort aspects of riding such a machine, and has ducati's legendary propensity for being truculent unless its sunny and the weather is pretending to be the mediterranean true?Hey CB :)
I think it's absolutely perfect for everyday riding (though I'm not on it anything like every day). When I test rode it my wrists went numb, but I figured I'd get used to it. I realised that, because it's a 'sports' bike, you need to engage your body more, sort of drive it from your core, if you know what I mean. It took me a couple of hundred miles to get truly comfortable on it, and I love it. But I may have to sell... my peanuts have been squeezed, see...
Perfectly reliable, btw, Ducati sorted that shit out long ago... (Japanese electrics nowadays I believe) -

Roughly 54cm top tube, old steel framed road bike, shimano 600 groupset, no bids on it yet and only a few hours to go.

Search for unipack using the search function - the consensus is that they are cheap crap.

• #6944

-
• #6945
Just got sniped on this :(
Sniped ... hmmm ...
The warped logic of the ebay bidder ...
Did you bid as much as you were willing to pay? If so, you didn't lose out. If you didn't bid as much as you were willing to pay for it, more fool you. There'll be other road bikes for sale for peanuts, especially when the economy eats itself.

In terms of a wheelset, you'll be looking at around £80 minimum on eBay..
If I were you I'd check out http://www.kiwicycles.com/wheels.htm as you can get a 'budget' handbuilt wheelset for £75 that looks alright
