The Parlee is most interesting. Z4 frame and fork was 2k new, weighed 850g. I wonder what's wrong with it? Looks OK in the pics. If it's sound and it fits it's the basis for a hyperbike. I've got a Z Zero and it's a flipping magic carpet.

@nick_h. I don't think there was anything wrong with it per se, I wanted to go and take a look and check the front mech hanger hadn't been overtightened etc... bugger, I actually really wanted that... I've got a Z5 and it's superb, just limited to 23c tyres at the rear I was hoping the Z4 would have a little more room... ah well

@mattyc The seller seemed very pessimistic about its strength...maybe he thinks cf just goes spongey or rancid after a few years. Or maybe he convinced himself there were hidden Cracks of Doom.

I messaged them a fair bit - I think they were just trying to protect themselves from any come back - ie 'it's an old carbon frame, buyer beware, I'm not telling you its safe - buy at your own risk, no come back'... etc... I would have taken the risk! who got it then? dibs etc
