I didn't know EL rusted, I thought it (nivacrom) was more akin to stainless due to what it's alloyed with. If it's been in a garden shed for years the only worry is if it's rusted from the inside out.

Nice Rick Powell (former Raleigh SBDU frame builder) in Columbus EL on ebay, not too pricey. Seller offered me it for £200 because I had it on my watch list-I would go for it myself if I hadn't just build up something else and spent all my money....
