Thanks for the encouragement guys. @Pawlus Yes I would like to build it up. Impending funemployent means I probably shouldn’t have bought it. But I hopefully have a few things that I could sell to negate the hole it’ll leave in my bank account.

As for plans I’d like something quite minimal and not too flashy. Anyone know what sort of tyre clearance these frames have?

I think I had 25mm on mine and think that 28mm would be pushing it.

I had assumed it was still in the 23mm era. Which was why i ultimately did not bid. If you can get 25s in there then that will be good news. Would be surprised if you can fit 28s

Lightspeed Ti frameset

I assumed this would be Columbus SLX or similar but doesn't actually state. Has a 531c sticker but dropouts are marked Columbus.

Ah, I see. Forgive my ignorance! Is it just the age/fatigue or is there a distinct type of older Ti?

I meant it is an old frameset in terms of age - these are about 20 years old.

The actual Ti material is unchanged!
