@BlackMath @HHC interesting that they both have same cranks, must have been the preference when they were first sold, although this one also has original forks

Dooode, how is the orange/grey lopro?

What looks like 14 Bike Co forks
Clearance for 28mm tyres.
Could be of use for a 14BikeCo project like @wildwest @user79306 @sacredhart @lasmo999

These are reasonably well-reviewed/popular, starting at 99p - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ribble-Audax-Winter-Frame-and-Forks-/182821459491?hash=item2a91021623:g:6pkAAOSwAJFZ3SAm
Winter beater?
Also another one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/56cm-ribble-frame-with-cannondale-carbon-fork-stem-/222671463823?hash=item33d840e58f:g:fQcAAOSwTLlZ2i4M

Got a feeling this guy bought it for £200 with TT groupset and two sets of nice wheels (have a feeling it was 7400 kit or similar). Le sigh.
Still a decent price, but not surprising it's taken a while to resell.

REMOVED LINK ON REQUEST OF A FELLOW MEMBER
(Funny how this happens a couple of times a month...)
IMO, great wheelset for the price.
I am even contemplating buying them!
-
• #58234
that's weird, why would a member want to have a link removed..
The internet is free!
-
• #58235
It was a set of Campag Pista wheels, probably can find them yourself if you're really keen. Seemingly defeats the whole purpose of the thread to have a link deleted so that no one else can outbid you though. A post saying "I'm buying these, don't get yourselves into a bidding war with me" seems like it would work better IMO
-
• #58236
ahh now I get it..
well to the anonymous member, hope you get it!
-
• #58237
But IIRC the link that Vince posted was for a BiN listing (with Make an Offer), so surely no possibility of a bidding war..

• #58239
Those dropouts!
-
• #58241
You're right, I found them on eBay... I suppose someone wants to put in an offer without having someone else buy them full price beforehand. Either way with all this discussion that's been generated I think removing the link has probably been counterproductive
-
• #58242
Having them that way seems, frankly, deadly
-
• #58243
Yeah you'd want strong skewers for braking. I bet getting a wheel in and out with the chain on is a pain too. But impractical = HHSB
-
• #58244
nice!
wonder what's the deal with those dropouts. won't make taking the wheel out easier.. maybe some sort of TT setup?
-
• #58245
Buy it and experiment :)
-
• #58246
But you have the track dropouts on a TT bike so that you can get the back wheel as close to the frame as possible for aeroness, right? These are useless in that regard
Edit: the only reason I can find for having them would be extremely short chainstays that make it impossible to get the wheel out frontwards
-
• #58247
I was trying to keep that on the down-low.
-
• #58248
I don't think there's too many people on here that ride that size frame haha
-
• #58249
rimbrakes? no thanks :)

Quite a few monster sized people on here. Wasn't there a PSA thread for us freakishly large folk.
Would love to see it with wheels as it has a 650c front fork.
