I don't think you need a racing license for them either. May be wrong though, it does happen.:)
No you don't need anything.
My boss did his first last week. 10 miles is the Malvern hills, on a geared (really rather nice) Soma. It took him 28 mins. The aero guys on carbon things were doing 21 mins.
I really want to beat him, fixed of-course.

Those stickers are awful...
Congratulation due to the designer for their ability to select the second most disgusting typeface from the Microsoft Word font set.

err... I think that should read 'the aero guys with twatting big legs on carbon things where doing 21mins'
Normal Eastway/Hillingdon crits average at 26/27mph even the Elites. That is with a bunch sharing the work. Time Trials do look a bit boring compared to road racing, but I have to say a solo ride averaging 28.5mph for even 10 miles gets my respect every time.

These are the times by (bullshitting?) boss mentioned. Though they are quite a serious bunch of riders.
I'd like to know more about what times are considered good for amateur 10m time trials. Anyone know of any sites?
I think it might be a challenge that's right up my street.

Anything under 20 mins is exceptional. Under 25 mins is a good standard to aim at.

15 hours, tall people! Come on! Help me make enough money back to stop my girlfriend from shouting at me when she notices the new bike frame in the hallway…
£56 and 16 hours left…
