Dudes got smarts, not like books smarts, but street smarts. Nobody will recognise a unipack once it been broken up... Oh wait...

Ugly as sin Ribble complete bike Hi-vi yellow!
c\w carbon forks, campag ti seatpost, campag large flange hubs on tub rims. Not a big bargain at 350, but ONO is there for a reason. That big downtube is screaming out for your personal touch. Or just ride it on the track? Also an unused Bridgestone PHR7 frame for under 1K ono. you can get them for 1100 in the shops, so beat that price down! harder! okay - probably no-one wants it on a whim.. unless you're an idiot... roll up..?

Possibly 61.5 if I tilt my head slightly. -

They are selling off the old stock from the recently deceased Dave Russell's shop in Twyford. I'm off there now to plunder.

Typical, i'm desperate for a small frame and he won't post. Why do they do that,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dave-Russell-T...ayphotohostingI made it to the seller's place yesterday to pickup a full Dave Russell bike.
He's selling the shop's stock on behalf of the family in his spare time while working fulltime.
If you saw his garage you'd understand why he can't ship large items. There are just tooo many of them.
Dozens of frames hanging from the rafters, next to about 30 pairs of rims (mostly 24 or 28 holes), boxes of chainrings, boxes of fixed gear cogs, brakes, cranks, gears, frame building tools, etc ... and that's just what's visible. More stock is coming in every day.
What's cool about actually being there is you get to rumage thru the items which are not sold and buy them. Cheaply!
Most of this stock will make it to eBay within the next month as there is a deadline to clear all the items.
What doesn't sell online will be available at the Jumbo on September 28th.
Anyway my trip netted me a 531 DR bike with vintage parts in great condition. Brooks saddle, flip-flop track wheels, DuraAce 1st generation gears, Campy headset and BB ... £75. And after rumaging, a new set of Look pedals for a fiver.
So if you're close enough buy something from Ruscombe Cycles and go pick it up. A train from Paddington takes 30 minutes and cost about £10
You'll certainly find something else you need as well.

I crashed a steel peugeot road bike when i was 17, it was a front on hit, and the forks bent exactly like that. I had the common sense to bend them back into shape and continue riding it for 3 more years. On reflection, I probably should have sold it on ebay...
