I'd be up for two tickets. Possible problems when a load of people want one specific bike but amongst 150 of us then there would be some democratic or 'fair' way to make sure everybody gets something they want. End of the day you get an Italian steed for less than it is worth so everybody should be happy regardless.

Transport alternative - 15 people take a holiday out to Italy and rent a people carrier, remove the seats and bring back 10 bikes through customs saying you had them to begin with ? Possible trainspotting scenario emerges when a select few have access to group assets

Did all the Dreams have shaped tubing? I'm not totally up on the aluminium Colnagos. I guess the Start came before the Asso, which was also aluminium with round tubing.

He imports bikes from Italy to London so I am sure he will be able to get us a good deal ;-)

Italy is part of the EU, so there should be no duty/import tax to pay. But it can look very strange bringing a van of bikes back...

I remember the original listing for this, local pickup from the ends of Scotland, sold for about £200? Must've been bought to sell on.
I recall the frame having some considerable paint scratches not quite shown in these photos and the parts were a bit of a mish mash?

Fair enough! thought it was a nice looking frame (EL tubing), mix of tricolour / campag wheels & shifters so not ideal...
