How light (531C is 2.8KG for F&F fling in a crabon fork and it's £2.5KG or less) & how much £££ & used or new?
If you have a common size (53-57) and some patience you may get lucky on e-bay/gumtree in used and pick up a bargaineous frame/bike. Short arses or giants need not apply usually though I've seen humongous frames in NL for not too much.
Off you go and find yourself a deal :)

Obviously, he needs the money to buy his girlfriend some clothes.

56cm Dolan Track Champion frameset, only £99 with free postage.
Some damage to the seatpost clamping area but nothing superglue can't fix!
The forks, headset, seatpost and saddle are worth about £60 so once you take off the £10 postage, that's only £20 for the frame itself.
Not a bad deal, even for a damaged frame.

Cool Merckx Corsa Extra frame, built with Columbus MAX tubing. Probably one of the first ones Merckx built with MAX, seeing as it has a fillet brazed fork.

That titanium fixie frame looks super interesting. Tight on the rear wheel clearance. Unfortunately its a bit steep price-wise. Any other recommendations on a good frame for single-speed? I'm thinking steel and light like a Condor Pista?
