£250 BIN
Looks like one of the fantastically rare and wonderous Limited Edition 'Coventry' Gios', made by Alfredo's emigre cousin Brian who fled Torino following a drunken brawl and settled in the UK having only completed half his apprenticeship, and who would handle UK sales or alternatively, steal to order from the Gios importer in Birmingham if you wanted any detailing he couldn't manage.
at a mere £250, a bargain for such wonderful heritage.

I keep looking around for a bike stand and they seem to vary in price hugely. I am interested in buying one for occasional use and this seems like it's cheap and cheerful enough, with the added bonus that they sell spares for it, so if anything breaks, they can supply the parts. I wont really use it enough to warrant a £100+ purchase, but I dont want to buy one and it fall to bits on first use, so does anyone know if these are worth bothering with, or should I keep looking around for a decent used one? -

I just bought that self same stand and it seems solid and dependable. Big wide feet so nice and stable and all the joints and knobs and stuff are big and chunky. I have only had it a few weeks and used it a handful of times and it has worked fine so far. I would recommend.
Of course, it might fall apart after six months and then I would change my mind, but honestly, it doesn't feel like that will happen.
I have no connection with the people who sell or make these.

Well if you say that it seems solid, that's good enough as I just didn't want to get one delivered and it just felt weak and ready to fall to pieces. Like I said, they do sell all the spares, so even if I had to buy the odd £5 part, I wont be too fussed.
Thanks :)
