It's a brave sales strategy, and it's also overpriced in my view: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Boardman-CX-Team-with-upgrades-/120996159585?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item1c2beee061

Try to buy it from Eddy, Alphie wants £30 more.
Googled his phone number and he's been 'selling' a few bikes, always in different places in London and always with a different name.
Can people like this be shopped? It has to be dodgy. -

I've used when poeple have an item in the wrong category.
With this guy the wording sounds very familiar,
I don't know if Gumtree ban people/phone numbers? -

Might try the report thing, can't see any reason for him having different names with the same mobile number other than it being sketchy.

Alright. Who got it? I would have had that in a second.
This guy?

WAC. I don't like that way of operating.

Would it be more cuntish to call him out on it in the thread?

Damaged when thrown in back of van?

I've been watching for Caad10s since 6 months only seen a few come up. 3 right now suddenly.
Yeah that's ones got some damage, but still rare to come up. Not worth what he wants or near it though.

+1
seller saying:
"A few hundred pounds. You're right it is a
shame, a shame that that I can't currently
justify it for myself to keep and ride.
It was bought as an investment, it fits me
so I am well able to use it, but if I can sell
it then I have extra cash in my pocket
which would be very welcome at this point.
Although, in the terrible situation if no one
does buy it then I'll have no choice but to
ride it!"Am sure there'll be a lynch mob gathering already on that forum in response to that.
I messaged the eBay seller to warn them to try not to get fleeced on that other bike (in more polite way tho).

This guy has a lovely Original Paint Woodrup for sale. Beautiful!
Mid- 70s I would say.
With full Campagnolo Pista and steel Cinelli stem and bars.
He's willing to take an offer but obviously if everyone on here sends him
a mail the price he will be willing to take will go up.I reckon he would take 250 cash....
oh well. £250? you say.
I have contacted the guy right after that bike showed up on ebay and he was asking £800 - seemed genuine pervious owner with medal won on this (or another) bike and track program included in the sale - I was gutted as I am a dog for something like that and would love to have it but cannot splash £800 at the moment ...
he mentioned to me that someone is coming with £600 and he was willing to accept if paid by Sunday.
suspect twat who bought it, is already selling hoping to have quick turn around and to earn some squids....
might be wrong though ...
