you may be told its lower end of ishiwata range, but the truth is its fairly reliable and stiff tubing. at 62st size you need to look for less delicate tubes anyway.
I have a recollection of bianchis using this tubing for their frames, may be wrong though :Syep, better to have cheaper(heavier) tubing in 60+ cm frames
there was a road test done in the 80's with I think 7 identical geometry steel framed bikes(same builder), same components. turned out that Columbus Aelle was preferred over the cheaper tubing in some cases, definitely better for large track frames, ultra light steel tubing should only be used for 56cm and smaller.
I have a very nice 62cm Italian pista frame built by a small shop in the 90's, nice lugs and pantographs, obviously was expensive but has Aelle tubing
