Extinct auction but seller could be contacted.
650c clincher 4spokedwheels!! It's a complete bike...

• Screams of Dalston.

• Yep, it was a good deal. I think i'll neg the fuck out of him anyway for being an impatient dickhead. The ability to '2nd Chance Offer' almost immediately after the auction end seems a bit daft and is obviously open for abuse by phantom bidders.

You sure he has sold it to someone else, and not just didn't get enough money, and so has not sold it to anyone, and will re-list it at another time...

this happened to me the other week, saw something I had 'bought' come back up for sale from the same guy.

People on ebay are right tossers if they don't get what they think they should!

Vive la dispute!!

• I'll take 6

• Awesome frame!

• This guy is a complete douche.. He bought it this week from marktplaats and immediately sells it again (for the same price??!) He is always pulling strange shit here in Holland, it's a shame

"strange shit"? i bought nice parts from him for good prices. wtf you are talking about?

• Nobody denies that you can make good deals with him or that his goods are good.

But we (all Dutch forum members except 1) agree that he shows a weird behaviour.

a "weird behaviour"? in the way that he is doing some business by buying stuff from marktplaats and sell it later? i dont mind that at all. if the price is good, i`ll buy, if not, not. i bought c-record crank from him for 160 euro and shamal pista wheelset for 275 euro. i am fine with that and think he is a nice guy. you know him in person?

• No, I don't know him in person, but I've seen what he has done (or tried to) here on this forum, followed him on MP and read how other forum members think about him. For me, that is enough.
Of course, you are free to have other opinion. Nothing wrong with that.
And again, perfectly possible that you can make good deals with him and that he sells good stuff.

• Be quick someone, xl 58cm cinelli gazzetta f&f 10 mins left, £200 no bids

Well, i find it strange that he buys something of MP and sells it (mostly in the same week) for the same price.. He "spoils" the whole game here (IMHO) buy buying everything which is track related, even if it's crap and pushing it on the next day.

I get the whole deal if you are working on a collection or just buying bikes, build them up and selling them, but i just don't get his way of working.

I don;t know him in person and sure he is a nice guy and you can make some good deals with him, but i just don't get it.

• if i was in london :

http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/benotto-frame-urgent-sale/78273759

thats gotta be long gone - posted 20 days ago with "urgent move to germany this weekend" in the post.

barganus though

• ^ It's not £50 - he's fishing for offers.

if its enough for you, its fine with me. but there is a point where its getting a little ridiculous. someone(not the seller) is posting a frame in this forum and its not taking long before someone, who feels himself clever enough to follow a guy who is using his real name on MP, have to tell "This guy is a complete douche.."..and again its not taking long until someone else (its you, bro!) have to agree on that. and funny thing is, you dont even know him or made business with him. is this a kind of "warning"? still dont get the point.

i am not really taking active part in this forum but follow the postings sometimes and its not the first time ive recognized this behaviour. its a bit like kindergarden.

either way - long gone

very personal kind of view.

1. try to imagine that everybody is playing different games around there and that a fixed-gear blog isnt the center of the world.
2. do better research: he bought a complete carbon bike (i saw on MP myself), took it apart and now is selling the parts. i can imagine a lot of business working that way.
3. whats crap for you, may be a piece someone else is looking for for years.

again: whats the problem?!

also, it doesn't take long for someone to oppose the opinions given, the internets work like that (kindergarten, not the centre of the world, bla bla) apparently. I have 1st hand experience - tried to do business with the guy and he showed very poor form, that's why I agreed with Shame's point of view. jm2c

Someone on here picked it up a few weeks ago.

I don't have a problem, i just don't like the way the guy is working and i gave my reasons..

Btw, don't tell me to do better research, i've been following this guy since he showed up in this scene a few months ago so i don't base my opinions on nothing ;)

would you agree that there is a difference between "dont like the way the guy is working" and "this guy is a complete douche" ?! i dont think there is a reason to get that personal?!

you are following him?! scary...i said do better research after you suggested that he is buying stuff and selling it for the same price. that would be REALLY strange...if it were true...

suggestion: buy something from him and get to know him better! he got a nice cinelli titanium stem for sale. bought one myself...

Scary? i just check what he is up to since he posts his stuff everywhere, he doesn't keep it secret, right..
And why should i want to get to know him? So we could drink coffee and chat bikes? Na, i'll do that with my friends.

In the end you have your opinion, i have mine. I get your points, hopefully you get mine..

Cheers

not "knowing in a way to become track-talking-bike-buddies" but in a way "not talking THAT bad about him." and we both know that there are guys out there worth to talk bad about. like the guys from "24k bikes" in rotterdam. i wait for my stuff for almost two years now and have heart a lot of promises in that time....
