why is that guy using rih's photos to sell his frame. maybe he bought it from him or maybe its a trap to get you to go to kingsland road and get mugged. his gumtree advert points to the same area that the DeBeauvoir kids jump people on bikes.

RIH sold it last year.
He already mentioned the tiny crack in the lug and the small damage of the seat lug then (I read in the original thread).
BTW, Benottos tend to crack at the weirdest spots. -

Mental frame as well.
Must be a 5000 Turbo. Top of the range mid 1980s.
Crack in upper head lug (?) is a shame, but enough life in it, certainly for that price.
Semi vertical dropouts though, so less attractive for SS and FG, but this frame must be ridden geared anyway.thanks for the info! I bought this last week
it's the seat tube crack that bothers me, but I should get a year or two out of it

guys, I'm pretty shit with old classic frames. what sort of money that should hit by the end of the auction? tempted.
Obviously you want to bid as much money as you can afford. Potentially more if you have a family member who will give you money.
Let's just say I'm biased.

I was in a lbs to my parents yesterday and they had a new on of these unstickered:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread2167.html#post62160roughly a 60 (cant remember if it was ct or cc) and 57 top tube. Its a columbus thron tubing (not amazing I know) but they would do the F&F for £90 which I thought was fairly reasonable!

Well my friend will, as a professional photographer be upset. With the limited time and light he had it was a pretty good outcome. Only realised as we finished due to light that he hadn't done the frame yet. They've not been edited either.
But 15 photos not enough?

Me too, I think it might be a touch too large for me. I've seen whole 501 bikes go for 40 quid the last few days, they seem to everywhere at the mo.

Flying Gate track bike with wooden rims.
Saw that, thought it looked more like a lopro, but a flying gate lopro seems so wrong :S

I saw that, but it's such an odd place for an actual crack that I suspect it's just a bit of corrosion cracking the paint.
