^ I think the decals make it incognito; ideal for locking it up around London, but agree the £70 postage is harsh, I'm not sure but I think the Italians but some sort of tax on postage, this guy always charges high postage also in Italy:

I have a pair of these, been riding them for a couple of months with no problems, hit a pretty nasty pothole a fortnight ago and they took it very well. I'm no wheel-builder though!

Penny Farthing - 20h to go.
Cranks have been converted to cotter pins. Originally would have had keyed cranks. They are also correctly known as Old Ordinaries or Highwheelers. Some of the later high end machines are an absolute joy to ride with The Rudge and Humber Racer models being notable examples. Unfortunately, Highwheelers are a much derided without just cause.

I had these as my first pair of fixed wheels but I am not too happy with the pair I received: I peeled off the sticker after a week of use to see a badly weld seam on both rims. Further, I had quite a few pinch flats from the uneven inner rim, could not go for an exchange/refund since I already used them. Did some DIY using superfine sandpaper to sand the ridges down on the inside of the rim, no probs since.
Hubs are unbraded sealed bearings, not too bad, into my 2nd year using them and still no probs.
