What do people think? A decent bike?
Thanks in advance!
You brought a bike, and then you ask for opinion whether it's a good bike or not.
Methinks you need to review the way you buy stuff.
Anyhow, it's depend on how much you spend on it, with a change of bar, it look like a nice little runabout.

how many posts before I can post a new thread in the classifieds?

Don't worry, you'll find out.
It's to stop people from coming, selling and going in that order, using LFGSS resource just for that doesn't go well here.

Why have the carry bit and 2 wheels at the front and not the back?
-
• #26911
because the other company make theirs that way and you want yours to look different and be instantly recognized as not one of theirs but one of yours (probably not but it makes sense in my head)
fully laden would braking be different/compromised if the load was behind rather than in front?
-
• #26912
To remind whoever is riding it that it is not a normal bicycle. Imagine that full of eggs and you get the idea. Besides. Look how stable the Reliant Robins are with the one wheel in the front....
-
• #26913
Good points... well the stability one is anyway ;)
I was just thinking about steering. tbh if I needed to transport that much stuff I'd use a car... or this guy:

I've ridden one of those oriental three wheeler which was imported from Taiwan (ex 1950s pedicab). It was fixed gear which allows you to reverse and the brakes are near useless when it's fully loaded. You can't get more than 5mph on them and never go near a hill unless you have a death wish. I ended up crashing it and hurting myself.

An okay BSA frame needs abit of a clean up however it dosent look to hard to achieve a nice looking bike okay lugs.
Perhaps its been posted on here already. Pick up in london too, they will post too.
I got that same bike, although previous owner stripped the paint.
Oh, I'd love to get this in original condition - it's even my size..
