yesterday
me: sorry to break this to you but, THIS IS A DEATH TRAP
seller: And you,d know that Because???????,,Ridden it yourself have ya????
me: at some point in its life it has been involved in a head on collision. not a heavy collision but one powerful enough to bend the forks back slightly and also cause the top and down tube to be bent at the join. if you look closely you will see what i mean. at some point this is going to snap and if this happens in traffic ............. well it doesnt bear thinking about. anyway now you know, and i know that you know as this email is in my outbox and your inbox. do the right thing.
regardsseller: Well thanks for letting me know, are you sure its not just the angle of the photo,,,I will give it a proper inspection tomorrow,if it is i will remove it,cheers

lovely finish on the bike but is it just me or is
the whole front end bent? The forks definitely
shouldn't be sitting like that and look to have
been in a crash. If so beware of selling as it's
in pretty dangerous nick-you'll probably get as
much just parting it out anyway so maybe a better
option? Not sure my opinion will be welcome but
thought you should know if you didn't already.this is the reply:
no i welcome your opinion and your right,i,ve just noticed the same thing,I am gonna take it down later tonight, and maybe try and get the forks straightened, failing that it,ll have to be scrapped,,,LOL,,maybe not,,,Thanks
And guess what, still up!
Selling a bike you know to be a totally fucked death trap? Priceless. LOL,, maybe not,,, Thanks.

Report it?

You can report it but ebay will just ignore you unless you actually bid on the item. Even then they are less than bothered.

I'm half tempted to send a message and tell him. i mean you can even see the marks from the old chain bolts that held on the other ring...

Obviously reported it, but still there regardless, as is with every time I have reported fakes, keyword spamming or whatever. Ebay don't give a shite as long as they get their 10 percent.

to be fair, at least he start with a 99p bid rather than something like £50.

...thats not the worst part - did you get a look at the "NJS stamp"?
I wonder how many keirin racers are out there winning trophy after trophy on these bad boys? -

I wonder how many keirin racers are out there winning trophy after trophy on these bad boys?Loads i mean as well all know the world champs are always held in Edinburgh and let us not forget that "This chainset actually rode the track at Medowbank, Edinburgh."
I mean we should be glad he's not making us pay for that kind of pedigree. it ACTUALLY rode there! WOW! I've got some stuff to sell in fact, if i put in in a bag and ride it round the newport track can i charge more?

you saying If it goes for between 150 - 200 quid thats not a tidy bike?
This is why, here, directly from Pron™.
That's what that should look like, what it has been done to it is just silly.![](http://i.ebayimg.com/22/!BySQ07g!mk~$(KGrHqMOKicEwN(zouQTBMRFZ5L!v!~~_12.JPG)

I see your point, i think it's a great looking frameset. We don't know whether he had the bike as shown in exibhit A or if he just found an affordable really really goodluckin frame and fork and built it up affordably with some parts raided off a trek?

^Either way, it's looks rubbish.
notice they also have 4X the postage to the US?
original sale quoted £30, this resell quotes £120!!
obviously a massive (opportunistic) wanker.
