Went for 181, nice frame...
hopefully the buyer has sense to build it up right. Also, not sure how much the frame could take ridden on the street if it would end up like this.. anyway nice frame and supa rare.

we have a customer with a purple vitus, his seattube pulled out of the lug connecting it to the bb, he tried to glue it again, but again it failed and now he's just drilled through it and runs a long bolt to secure it (badly) in place, just a heads up

They have to be sent back to Vitus every three years to be re-glued. Same with Alan.

I had a Peugeot Comete years ago and it literally disintegrated as I was accelerating away from a bus. It wasn't a problem though, because I used my knees and elbows as brakes and missed being dispatched by a twat in an XR3i.
It had been making a funny clicking and metal flexing sound which I duly ignored and in the true spirit of ignoring something annoying, it went away. The frame made no further noises for about three weeks and then it all went very wonky indeed.
I looked like Abdujaparov after "that" sprint in Paris and was still picking bit of tarmac out of my extremities a week later.

Depends on what you'll be putting it on. Looks pretty yuck to me, like they've cleaned it too often with something acidic. I would pass... too beaten up at any price.

Bloody hell.
Well, my initial bid was so easily going to be out of that race.
Is it someone on here that's winning?
