friday afternoon question: when is the last time someone actually posted something from craigslist on here?
-
• #21855
He could at least put "not Phil Wood" in the item title; more than a little misleading as it stands, IMO.
these 'colnago' forks had me fooled (before checking with the man)
Naughty Roberto. This is pretty bad.

How much does he want for it?

Hopefully, given all the pantoed bits, it will be bought to be ridden, not split. Even at 750 its a good price too.

I wish i could stretch to €750

Naughty Roberto. This is pretty bad.
I don't think it's a bad from Roberto, seriously. He mentions the words "Phil/Miche/Wood" (on that exact order), merely as tags, seems obvious to me...
The forks have nothing saying Colnago, whoever is willing to buy them should know Colnago straight bladed forks, are usually pantographed (!?).
Much worse would be trying to make it pass as something it's not,... and no, I do not believe that's the case.
I for one never felt, buying from Roberto, any kind of dodginess from his side. -

Tagging listings with keywords is dodgy in itself, by not stating in the listing that it is not a Miche or Phil, you're being pretty deceitful in my opinion.
-
• #21872
Pretty deceitful would have been saying (e.g.), it was a polished Campagnolo record track hub (which in a way could look similar, in dim light : ) ...).
I listed 2 aerospokes on epay, and wrote on the title something like: "Aerospoke 700c, rear HED CORIMA CARBON..."
Now, it's not an HED wheel, nor is a CORIMA...much less a carbon wheel.
Was it that naughty?... I guess it's a way of having the best chances to sell your product*.
