The one he's selling is fixed/free. On-one only have double fixed in stock so there is a difference. Still, caveat emptor and all that.

Look carefully at the picture: it has locking threads on both sides: Should have gone to Specsavers and all that :-P

sometimes, sometimes not... its a bit of a lottery.
I think occasionally they put off bidders, but can lead to you having a private sale after the auction ends- meaning you get the price you wanted.
It depends how much you are willing to lose vs how much you want it to be sold.
On another note, I wish the seller of my tandem track would reply to me so I can pick it up....
need to start thinking about it- and can't do that without a good look and feel.
Definitely going to strip the paint. -

It depends what it is. With a frame, I find it's worth putting it on for 99p as a lot of people watch it and bid because they think they'll get bargain. Everyone loves a bargain.

Everyone loves a bargain.
Except the seller.

If you need to sell, but hope it makes a good price 99p no reserve. If you need it to hit a certain price or you would rather keep it whack a reserve on. Reserve fees are gay though.

good pictures not taken on your broken camera phone through a net curtain.
once a seller was selling a bates trouring bicycle with diadrant forks terrible picture but in the distance i could see another bicycle or at least the lugs , i asked if it was for sale and further pitures. below is one of the pics he sent.good title and description, ie honest and no baloney.
good start / finish time and auction duration.
cheap or fair price on shipping. make it clear that item can be collected or delivered free of charge if local.
make auction worldwide.
having something of a track record will also help.
as with lfgss and topics being discussed ,,, on the bay most items have been sold before , see what price the similar item sold for before. if its high demand then a reserve is not needed.
get the above points right and you will not need to have a reserve.
sorry if i missed something.

I think it's going for a relatively low amount.
