there's always the risk but you can usually tell from speaking to the seller...its where i found my stolen bike (which i then recovered) - the little 16yr old selling it didn't have a f'in clue what he was selling!

Cheers, did you find somewhere with cheap open pros? ive decided im going to let goldte build my wheels now actually, man they were cheap though :/
Yeah - building up a little stockpile now. Means I'll need to choose hub/rim combinations carefully though ...
As for Open Pros, the only place I can see them under thirty quid is Ribble, as long as you buy two (or at least spend more than £50 in the transaction). No stock though. Thinking about Rigida Chrinas instead - very similar cross-section and a lot cheaper

Cool :) i think i might go with CXP 33s, they are a little cheaper (£5 per wheel) when i buy them at goldtec than Open pros, plus i like the look of them :) -

i'm not sure it is related but i spoke to a cycle shop today about wheel builds and they basically told me that Mavic are starting to insist on a sole uk distributer and only supplying to the big bike shops, doesn't sound too promising for stock levels in general if you are looking for a good price.

i was interested in the pink moser for my wife, contacted the seller yesterday because he mentioned the sale of a Bianchi but has no seller feedback, he wrote back with the item number 140319759532 but still no positive feedback. he also says:
"If you want the bike, you should buy it today, because I will remove it from ebay. Tomorrow I will parting out it."
asked why he was going to remove it from ebay, has not replied.

Because he's going to sell it in parts instead?
What does everyone think of this - is it a decent frame? What's it worth?
