Can hardly believe that it's sold for so much mony.
The wheels were not that expensive.I used them quite a while on road and in cyclocross (training).
Giant had massive warranty problems due to lack of spoke tension at the rear and freewheel problems.
I didn't suffer too much, but the fact that so many wheels were claimed for warranty says something. Finally, lots of wheels were replaced by regularly laced wheels.
To be honest I don't know about broken spokes and danger caused by this. Can't imagine that that really happened. In that case, you should also not use carbon frames and forks.Main reason why you should not buy these wheels (except for spare parts in case you already ride such wheels: there are absolutely no spare parts left (rims) and FIR doesn't exist anymore. Nearly impossible to get correct rims in case you need some.
For approx. 20 - 30 GBP a set, you can have some fun with these wheels.
But don't pay that much...anyone know about these????
