Rodneeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy!!!!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OLD-CLASSIC-GENTS-RALEIGH-SPORwhen i first discovered the internet and email i didnt understand or appreciate the annoyance of bold capitals, i am a nice person but when i see them something inside me wishes 'mild evil' on the person. even though i know they wont care i just want to grasp the shoulders of the offender and shake them.
i have had a pint of guinness but my judgement is not clouded

Seen a lot of nice 853 frames doing the rounds on ebay - unfortunately most with vertical drop outs
Excuse the newbie question but is it possible to have track ends welded onto an 853 frame. If so would do this around the london area and what kind of money would it cost? -

Damn, was hoping no one would spot that Barron =P
Still, it does have a huuuuge dent on the downtube, I wouldn't buy it if I were you, could catastrophically fail and kill everyone in the country.
You have been warned...

Put a good fork in the headtube and measure the distance BB- front HB c-t-c.
Compare this with the Kirk geometry that you've looked up on the internet : http://www.kirk-bicycles.co.uk/Kirk-Facts.htm
A bit of work, but it gives you some kind of security (at least if the frame is bent or not). Of course, the fork rake has to be the same as Kirk's original. -
• #13899
all depends on the angle of the dangle on the fork??
