52cm bb to top, and 58cm top tube c/c. Is a 58cm top tube large for a 52cm frame?

I saw that 'in the flesh' last night. It's even nicer up close. Good size as well, think he said 56. The paintwork looks almost untouched. A really nice creamy colour.

Yes, for an OTP frame.
Likely a custom build for someone with a long torso or arms.

Do you reckon with a very short stem, it would equal out? Im tempted by it.

fair enough.. the seller has worded it carefully.
No harm done - but I wouldn't want to see someone pay £150 for that when there is a Gazelle Champion Mondial frameset for £51!
I bought a similar peugeot for under a tenner off Ebay, and it was in London.
NB - I think the long toptube on that might be ecause it is a model AB - which had a longer wheelbase..? it has odd proportions for sure. -

Seriously I have one and they weren't that great, weighed a ton and the handling was proper sloppy. I am Respraying and rebuilding with slightly newer (but still cheapo kit) for a geared beater.

Damn you!
Oh well, competition is a good thing!
btw - Closer inspection on the lugs, and cable guides and lack of shifter braze-ons may suggest this is not a Gazelle comparing it to other images found online. But I'm usually wrong!
I also emailed asking for close up of the forks as they should be embossed with a Gazelle logo if real. The reply was 'make me an offer please'.

seller
There also appears to be a slight bulge where the top tube joins the head tube. I can't be sure but I'm guessing that it's had a front impact at some point which would also account for the forks not being original. I have tried to show this bulge in the photo although it's not majorly obvious.
