Hello everyone on lfgss, I was referred to this forum by a friend of mine. A friend and I have just arrived in London after travelling most of Europe with our bikes, we just came from the Barcelona red hook criterium and want to meet more people!
Where here in London till next week so if there are any rides or hangs going on we would love to come and ride/drink or whatever. We've come from Australia and don't know many people here, please help! :D
Thanks heaps,
Derek Holland -

Welcome, Derek. There's a ride going on right now:
https://www.lfgss.com/thread109330.html
Not sure if you can get in touch with them, but you could try posting in the thread if you're up for it.
Other than that, there are the Compass Drinks, Easts, Souths, Wests, Norths, and South-easts. Fun for all the family.

Hey, unfortunately I'm not yet able to start a thread but I thought I'd check out LFGSS as I'm in need of a crankset. Need a standard square taper crankset with a BCD of 130mm. Something like a Shimano 600 or similar. Else can anyone suggest good places to pic up used bike parts in London?

Hi,
Another new guy here - been commuting on a geared bike for about 2 and a half years now, thinking a lot about getting a second bike for leisure and fun rides and leaning towards going for a SS, so thought I'd join here.

Hi all,
Just moved to London from Dublin, have a few bikes back home that I've yet to bring over (Dolan Preffisio winter bike, Scott CR1 SL race bike), but signed up in search of a single speed bike for bashing around town on.

Hi all
New guy from Denmark here. Been riding fixed when I lived in Copenhagen city area and when I moved out I build a SS which I have done 12kkm or so on to date. I've been following this forum on and off for a long time but never got around to do introductions before.

I had some difficulties with the registration process, but finally! Don't have that much to say about myself. I'm a 21-year old male from Helsinki, Finland and currently building my first fixed gear bicycle.

Hi All
I'm Kelvin, just starting off in the 1 gear world.
Just finished putting putting together my first fixie. Picked up a Bianchi Pista and some Mavic ellipse rims. Gonna use it for winter training as i mainly use a road bike.
See you on the road.
