hey Lfgss, many Sheffielders around? See enough cyclists on the road for there to be at least a few!
There's a few folk on the forums from Sheffield and the surrounding areas. A few involved in various polo threads that I know of. Dave:)

Alright folks, my names Ryan and I live in Milton Keynes. Been riding fixed for going on three years now but have never really embraced the community before. Joining up here to chat to like minded folk, and hopefully learn a thing or two.
Anyway, here's my current bike...
2009 Fuji Track Pro
Mainly as it comes from the factory bar the bars and front wheel

Hello. South London/Surrey based Richmond park and Surrey hills rider about to join in the fixed world. I'm hoping to have my new bike finished for December, still gathering parts and making my mind up on spec. In the meantime I'm riding...
Japanese 14 speed steel steed.

Afternoon all.
Name's Tom, from Hertfordshire (although spend 9 months of the year in Leicestershire).
Ride mountain bikes and road bikes, currently 'between singlespeeds' after one was butchered to become a cross country bike, and my beloved Fly Pantera BMX was robbed by some thieving little scrote. (My fault for using a shit lock and leaving it on a dodgy street corner of an estate I guess.)

Hello you guys! I'm from Greece but I joined your forum to inform about the single speed and fixed gear tendencies. I'm ridding fix since 2010 always with front break as the traffic around here is quite unpredictable specially in the city of Larissa! Anyway I'm posting my latest bike...

if you're of drinking age, get yourself down to the forum drinks nearest to you (look at the top menu under compass beers) and you'll find plenty of people who like riding their bikes (and drinking).

if you just wish to ride, look at the rides and races subforum

Good morning. recently joined after using this forum as a resource for over two years. I converted my old Carlton Pro-Am to fixed (50x15) in 1985 and have been riding it ever since. Other bikes Giant OCR2 Compact, Raleigh Team Sprint and this:
The frame may be of interest to some of you, especially the Polo community here. It's a Meilec aluminium frame can be supplied with 0 rake forks 1 1/8 and can be found here:

I've ridden it 26" x 1.9 maxxis larsens and even used 700c with 1mm clearance on the fork crown.

Good Afternoon all!
I've been ghosting on this forum for a while now and finally got round to becoming a member. Looking in to getting back on the road as it has been far too long and cricket season is now over so my legs need something to do.
I have a budget of £200/250 for a ss/fg although I am getting slightly tempted by my friends to buy a road bike. So if anyone out there has anything that fits that criteria give me a shout :)
Thank you

After months of lurking I decided I should probably say something.
How about: “enjoy the 2020 coronavirus pandemic everyone!”
goes back to lurking
Hi There, tulio (guess wherethat one comes from ;) from France here, joined the forum today. I've got good reasons for that, I am an old freak about vintage bikes, especially italian ones from the 70's and the 80's. This looks like the right place to be !
Cheers !
