Hi, im a newbie to the site and to ss/fixie in general, after riding MTB and downhill for years i thought id give another aspect of cycling a try!
Im from sheffield so im nowhere near most of you guys but i joined the site to get help, info, feedback and just keep in contact with the SS/fixie community in general.

a newbie here, apart from visiting the forum for some time now, and with the fixed in general. I'm from Finland, lived few years in London and now in Cambridge. Still visiting London for at least one weekend a month, though. I love bikes, cooking, baking and eating vegan, books and learning.

I've been riding my nice hybrid for couple of years now and recently bought myself an old road frame to make into a single speed/fixed as soon as I have the finances to proceed with the plan. So looking for advice and bits and pops from this forum.

Hi all, not new to cycling but new to SSing on the road and redways round Milton Keynes.
Got a couple of old raleighs that need a bit of work and general swap round of parts and looking to build a track bike (mainly because I can) so hopefully I'll get some sound advice on here and to generally take the piss out of the inevitable pointless posts you get on any forum.

It'll certainly make a change to be on a forum where you can call a bastard a bastard and not get banned for a month :)
