Quite possibly. Was also in an angry state yesterday. Been burgled, they took both my laptops, girlfriends laptop, iPad and half my camera kit: my new D700, new 16-35 and new flash.

my morning so far. bought an ultra-wide-angle lens that I can't afford and don't know how to use, but quite like these. Seem to have a dirty splodge on the lens as evident in the first pic (those are my wheelz).
as per dicki's request - just a bit of adjusting in iphoto - i.e. i hit the enhance button and had to straighten the first pic because my photos are always lopsided.
-
• #6059
heh funny about the straightening
during my scanning i've noticed that a lot of my shots are not horizontal
they all seem to have the same angle of lean and always in the same direction
might have to measure the old legs to see if there is a discrepancy down there !!i don't think any of the photos i've uploaded have been post processed in any way, and boots did the processing on the 35mm images i've posted so no jiggery pokery there either
i have had a little play around in photo editing suites and it's quite fun
the focusing thing is good crisps out the edges / straight lines -

Moar flowerz.
X100, no adjustment.
And one with quite a lot of fiddling...

photoben very sorry to hear about your break-in woes.
I hope the insurance process goes smoothly. -
• #6062
Cheers guys.
^^^^ Love a bit of wide angle distortion. Also love messing around with the distortion slider to straighten it/make it silly extreme.

Looks more like a fibre on the sensor. A blower might sort that out.

Sorry to hear about your burglary Photoben, hope the insurance comes through quickly.

The lens cap on one of my lenses keeps falling off. Even though it seems to click in place securely it easily pops itself off.
any tips?

from the observatory ride today
no fiddling
think i need a tripod now
had to balance camera on a dustbin lid to get this, not quite perfect but shows it can do nice long exposures quite well -

Allows camera placement and adjustment without having to carry something long and hard in a pocket / disembowelling yourself in a collision.
You'll still have to find a handy wall / dustbin / fencepost / car roof etc. -
• #6072
most handy wall / dustbin / fencepost / car roof etc seem to be inconveniently heighted

Trying to get out and shoot more/carry a camera everywhere.

• #6074
That is lovely.
