After a few years I think I've finished the Mike Kowal, and after sumo told me it was a fucking disgrace the other day i thought i'd post it here. Rundown of the parts;
Mike Kowal 853 hand built frame
Mavic A719 built by me to Deore XT FH Tiagra RH
600 tricolour 8sp RH shifter Dura ace triple LH shifter
Deore hollowtech chainset
galli seatpost
brooks b17 champion special
ugly as fuck stem
all condition 28 tyres
deore rear mech
tiagra front mech
deore xt pedals
shimano long drop calipers
stronglight a9 headset
it all works together surprisingly well, but despite my colour coordination efforts looks pretty dumb. I dont even like red
rides like a dream though and pretty sure i could set off for aberdeen tomorrow with no problems
