  • ffs, for sure?

  • See post 242.

  • I did, but I also saw this one...

tommmm has a theory that up to 40 deda sizing they all compact, above that anatomic. but i believe apollo had some 44s so confused still

  • We'll have to wait and see.

I hope they are compact as I need a pair as well!

  • Will report back!

  • Where did Polly Polo get his?

  • I'm going to have a go at explaining what I know about Piegas.
As far as I can figure out, there are three types of Piega.
Shape-wise, the first two are direct copies of their equivalents in the 215 range:

    1. Shallow

I think these have been discontinued as Piegas and re-named "Speciale". As Piegas they were available in black only, now they're available in Silver (as Speciales) and Carbon (as carbon speciales) as well (yes, carbon 26.0). The ones in the picture are Speciales but are exactly the same shape. I just can't be arsed to find a picture to prove they exist... Condor had them last year.

    2. Anatomic

This is probably what TM has ordered. Available in black only as Piegas, but silver as well in 215.

Then there are the compact ones, which arethe 26.0 version of the RHM 01, and weren't made in the 215 range:

    1. Compact.

These are the ones that High on Bikes have a picture of under the heading of "Piega", when they are actually specifying the Anatomic shape on the listing.
  • What I really want is for Nitto to make a cheaper version of M106 with a clamping area the same as Noodles. Get on it, Nitto.

  • The compact Piegas are the same shape as the Deda RHM 01, but 26.0 not 31.8.

  • Thanks, I've edited that in.

  • It could be a bit less confusing.

  • +1!

  • A phone call to Chicken Cycles could possibly clear some of this up

  • ill wait what turns up on tms doorstep to get my order in.

    i really hope theyre compacts.

still the question remains why deda are fucking up so bigtime.

    oh wait. italians

  • Where did Polly Polo get his?

i believe he once reoprted back in the wbv thread he got m from tfg on sale

still hope highonbikes has the correct ones.

  • Is there such a thing as a 26.0 bar with a flat bar to hood transition and a deep round drop? Like 3t Rotundo or Pro Vibe 75 Round, but 26.0.

  • I ordered a set of the deda piega in 42 from high on bikes and got the anatomic ones. shit.

  • Just spoke to high on bikes, they are all anatomic, he sounded a bit heartbroken...

They had already sent mine out, but they are sending me a label to return them, and refuinding the money.

    Was pleasant enough about it.

  • I shouldn't have sold my Bonts, the anatomic 215's I have now aren't as good.

  • I have a set of compact 42cm Piegas I was about to list in classifieds, will give first dibs here. Looking for £20. They are wrapped in 3ttt tape and in mint condition.

  • Back to Spatr bars then.

  • Mechanical vandal, is that posted?

  • Is there such a thing as a 26.0 bar with a flat bar to hood transition and a deep round drop? Like 3t Rotundo or Pro Vibe 75 Round, but 26.0.

I don't think 3t rotundo has a 'flat transition' but isn't the nitto noodle reasonably similar?
Deda 215 shallow (26) is the same as Deda Newton shallow (31.8), which definitely isn't a flat transition, but is a round drop.
flat transition and round drop bars are pretty new, I think 3t tornova and some of the new fizik bars are trying to do this.

  • Mechanical vandal, is that posted?

It was. Nutjesmoar has been in touch about them already, so sold to him pending payment. If it falls through I'll be in touch.
