Using a QUATO Intelli Scan 5000 with Silverfast 6.
Can't compare with another scanner really.It's apparently almost the same as the Plustec 8200i.
It's not scanning that fast, and you have to feed each slide seperately by hand.
Quality seems to be rather good in that price range.
Unfortunately it does not work with VueScan, so I have to use SilverFast, which is a capable program, but a huge pain in the ass to use.
Really. It drives almost everybody I know nuts, and the support is shit.
Afer scanning 1000+ frames I get the results I want most of the time, but still wish I had an alternative.
