Beyond banning him (which doesn't resolve the issue), there's not anything he can do to force the issue: "We accept absolutely no liability for any transaction carried out as a result of the use of the communication services provided, including any loss or harm that comes to you or your possessions or any grievance with any other forum member. That's as may be, but your options are limited: you can drag this out in the hope of a successful outcome, or get your money back and walk away.

Or pay me the train fare and I'll go and get it, I could do with having the time to read and I have a week off. I have a student railcard and everything.

Message has been responded to. He says the bike was posted yesterday, and he hasn't responded to messages as he works on a night shift.

If that is the case then I have I no interest in posting any further on the matter.

NorthLondonLight is not a good trader IMO, despite what others seem to think of him. He has duped me and this is the first time in over 6 years of trading on this and (mostly) other sites that I have had even a sniff of a bad experience.

He is not responding to my PMs either. I bought what was supposed to be a 10sp Chorus cassette (at a Chorus price) from him but when it arrived it turned out to be a veloce.

We agreed that I would return it for a refund once I got a replacement but he is not responding to my PMs!

I know Ken (NorthLondonLights). He massively helped me out around this time last year. He lent me a bike for 2 months despite never having met me before. He IS an upstanding decent guy, so I'm sure there are other things in play.

He was very willing to help out when I pointed out that the Cassette was not Chorus (although it would have made things easier if he did not suggest it was Chorus in the first place). Its strange though that he is not responding to PMs although he has been using the forum recently!

I would say the same as Tenners, but then, if I was in your place I'd be fucking pissed and if he's getting your PM's then there's really no excuse for leaving people hanging like this.

It's bullshit behaviour even if he does have good rep from past sales etc.

Ken, if you're reading this you really need to at least respond to people and say what the issue is or when you will sort it out. It's just not acceptable to lurk away and leave people feeling like they are being mugged off, and it will stop a lot of people from wanting to trade with you ever again, me included.
