At some basic level I really believe the ability to... rehabilitate I guess... to change ones ways and be a better person tomorrow than we are today. I hold that hope more dearly than I hold the idea that some action yesterday should be punished.
I'll give people chances until they prove beyond doubt they shouldn't have them.
Even when it's stuff that offends me to the core too. Some things trump all others, in this case hope.
