I like cycling and meeting people. Today: Hardly on here dude called Josh fresh from Leeds, on an all black fixie with No Braks and a groaning BB. we chatted this am most of Old Kent Road. Hope to see you around on some London rides.

Stealth spots this morning commute, YAL on commercial road, due to my slow reaction time I didn't shout out a DAS (plus he was spinning at 200rpm) Also Samson coming down to king's cross from city road, didn't manage to catch up due to red lights! =(

Also, a sad abandoned bike in the bike racks at Waterloo. Been there for weeks on the back of the first or second bank in, on the end at ground level.
Purpley frame, covered in electrical tape with a Vans sticker, track ends, wideish porteur bars with no grips, black, possibly carbon fork and funky front rack. Think it has a Sugino Messenger w black cranks. See-thru plastic BMX pedals and velcro straps. Deepish black front rim with a newish looking Gatorskin. Frame and front locked with a Fahg... sadly the rear wasn't locked and has been nicked. Bike's been there in that state since well before Christmas.
Please come and claim it someone, it's too nice to be left to die in the rain, fag smoke and pigeon shit of Waterloo.
Right, this poor thing is still here. Sort of. Both wheels have been nicked now as have the bars and stem. The rack has been broken off and left on the floor. All that remains is the frame itself, the rusty chain and the Sugino Messenger crankset, BMX pedals and straps. This morning I noticed it's got a notice on it saying it's going to be removed on Thursday.
I could really do with the crankset for a cheapo build. What are the morals with this sort of thing? Would I be well out of order to pop down at lunchtime tomorrow with a crank-puller or should I wait until they take it away and pay the release fee? Or should I just let it be taken away to lie unclaimed and eventually scrapped?
Advise me plse LFGSS.

do a shit on it - that way you have marked it as yours.
Impressive skidding this morning from some Catlike Whisper-wearing bloke on a Fuji just ahead of me at the bottom end of Peckham Rye.
