Normally I like landscapes more than people/portraits, but there are some really nice ones there, love the incongruity of the Fred Perry jumper in this one:

in total i travelled for 15 months around africa from malawi in the south up to israel via ethiopia, zaire, east africa sudan and the sahara

was actually born in uganda so had planned to return at some stage in my life
got the opportunity in 1991 / 2 after uni
