I'd be interested in joining as most cycling clubs I find take themselves to seriously. I just like to ride bikes never raced never wanted to. Will the jersey be available in a xxxl ?

Your bulk order will maintain the economies of scale which are the likely explanation for the price drop on D2Z suits from £400+ a couple of years ago to under £300 now.

Excellent work chaps - as we are now affiliated I have just signed up for the Silver membership with British Cycling. If people have NOT signed up/registered before there is a discount of £20 for the first year too.

David - there is a slight snag as in the email I have just had my membership card is going to sent to the club secretary which as far as I know would be you?

If I get it, I'll forward it to you... free of charge of course. I suspect they'll let me know your address.

I put on the club form that I did NOT want to receive membership cards and that they should be sent to you directly. So let's hope that this is just a case of British Cycling using an email template that doesn't apply.

LFGSS CC is being set up as a CASC (Community Amateur Sports Club).

This forces us to be non-profit, and compels us to act in the interest of promoting sport and ensures that any money made will be invested back into the sport.

I need some volunteers to take up roles that assist with the oversight of the club.

These are positions for a core committee.

The purpose is to ensure that the club is run as a non-profit, that it's not a sham and doesn't act fraudulently.

I specifically want the day-to-day club operations run without centralisation as a product of a web forum (this one), but the committee is required by HMRC for us to be a CASC / non-profit. Part of the committee will also be called to act as an appeal panel should someone be excluded from the club.

For this committee I need to find people who will fill these roles:
