So the Union 34 trousers are some of the most uncomfortable, ill fitting trousers I've ever tried to walk in, nevermind ride in : (
Got a size 16 and to say they are snug around the thigh is an understatement. Admittedly I do have chunky thighs but I have size 14 skinny/non stretch jeans they go in. And cycling trousers are supposed to have a bit more room, eh?
And due to the "snugness" the crotch doesn't really sit in my erm crotch which a) makes for a pretty uncomfortable sensation when riding and b) kinda low hanging looking.
They are also pretty long for "standard" and the waist and hips are actually way too big.
So in conclusion: great, if you are 6ft plus with slender thighs and wide hips and arse : /
I've read that Union34 got students at Central St Martin to design their clothes and the asking fashion types to make technical clothing really shows.
If I'd laid the RRP of £99 I would be fuming. No wonder so much of their stuff is going cheap across the Internet.
