I think gangsta is really nice all-around-full-year-around-beat-the-shit-out-of-it frame/bike. It fits 35mm cross tyres which are decent enough at wintertime even here in Finland (at least most of the time). The frame looks a bit weird but I personally like the style bmw ended up designing it. Like there´s everything wrong when you look at it but somehow it still makes sense and feels fast when you ride one.
Of course there are many frames that you can use year-around-all-around etc. and some will of course do it better than gangsta in terms of tyre clearance, flexibility or whatever. It´s just something you prefer for some reason or other. Otherwise we all would be riding cross-checks.
