Yup eyebrows. Sounds like you're fully in the right and she's a fool. As others have said, totally her responsibility for not checking for all oncoming traffic.

I don't want to take anyone to insurance/court as there isn't any major damage that I can see (this might change once I give it a proper lookover). Scuffed bar tape at most.
My intention is to get him to realise that he was in the wrong and therefore drive more carefully and considerately, especially around cyclists. Claiming for tiny amounts of money is likely to make him resentful and therefore a more dangerous road user.
Any suggestions? I've sent him video and a shot of the junction but he still denies wrongdoing. Is there any hope of a conversion?
