• fair enough, maybe I'm getting old, but I certainly can't detect any "flex"...

Could do with hippy or tester here to tell us the reality of being able to detect such flex whilst riding...

Will continue attempting to destroy it, and will give a full account of it in a couple of months pending destruction/survival. So far so good though.

It's probably fine but my main worry wasn't snapping, just going egg shaped faster than usual.

I don't like the sound of "it felt flexy in the hand". I couldn't imagine flexing any chainring with my own bare hands. TM, tell me this is not true!

Yeah, cleaning... You know. When you lock your bike up outside and it just so happens to rain. Cleaning!

Well, heeding these comments, I tried to flex it in my hands, and true, there was a tiny bit of flex, i've honestly not tried flexing another chainring to compare... I'm not sure how much it flexing slightly in your hands affects it's performance though, as it will never encounter such forces in it's role as a chainring?! Lateral compliancy, vertical stiffness or some bollocks? who knows, but as I said, rides great, smooth and quiet. no complaints.

I'm not sure either, it just felt a lot more flexy compared to DA, rotor or aaRN but I've never ridden the Lattice so can't really comment on that, you have and you think it's fine so I'll take that as truth.
