yeah that's my plan, I was just waiting to get this erratic brake setup sorted so I don't go wailing off a hill edge at the expense of others. I need to subscribe to the page where it will notify me of the next runs, and get a another back cog to flip and help lower my ratio a bit!

That's a good shout, what are you thinking for the other side? You might want to just gear down slowly as even jumping to a 50/15 (pretty much my track gear) will feel spinny from 50/12.
