  • Although I'm not sure where it originates from, the samphire from the Picadilly Whole Foods is great- no signs of wilting, nice and crunchy etc.

  • Greengrocer in Herne Hill has samphire when it is in season at a mega cheap price. I always buy a load and freeze what I don't need.

  • Fishmonger on Lordship Lane always had loads of samphire when it was on my daily route. Haven't been by in a few months though.

    Last night I ate a prawn phal (hotter than vindaloo). It made me high.
