What time is it? Watches and horology

Right... googled the SKX031 and yours has a case bearing which created the clicking / friction. It's supposed to be built into the case between the 7 & 8 markers...

There should be no washer etc.

Is the bezel straight all the way around? If it's been removed carelessly in the past, it may have bent, causing the bezel to stick.
