I have the box checked but don't receive anything :(

Just PM me your email address and I'll make sure you are added.
Note: If you've ever marked a mail from LFGSS as spam, then the system will never send you a newsletter email (or in fact, any email).

I've never marked an email from LFGSS as spam but I can't account for what my yahoo account may or may not have done in the past.

Posted in the motorbike thread about a suzuki rear shock, posted again on the thread and noticed that the post was repeated, so there were two copies of the post. Deleted one post and then both posts disappeared.

You probably pressed back and then forward on your browser or something similar without refreshing the page, so it looked like a double post but wasn't. Next time if you think there's a double post refresh the page first to make sure. The forum usually won't let you double post.

The posts were 6 minutes apart. That it the strange thing.

In case it's in any way unclear, having a classifieds advert that says: "Best offers in 48 hours" is an auction. You are going to have your advert deleted, you may be banned.
If you want to run an auction, go to eBay. If the item is any good, it will be shared in the eBay thread.
Otherwise, the only time it's acceptable to not put a price is when you are willing to accept the FIRST reasonable (i.e. public and with people saying - "That's a fair price") offer.
Not putting a price isn't about you wanting to make it an auction and get the best price for you... it's about you not knowing how to price something but being very willing to accept a fair offer.
"Fair" and "Reasonable" are not defined by the seller, but by the buyer and other readers who may comment on whether the price is reasonable. Therefore, "fair offers" should be public so that it definitely is not an auction (for which you may be banned).

Could you please change my thread title
https://www.lfgss.com/thread122041.html
from
Peugeot Teamline 1500 51cm - 90s Full Carbon Lugged frame Alu forks Shimano
to
Peugeot Teamline 1500 51cm - 90s Full Carbon Lugged complete with Alu forks Shimano
Advert comes across as just frame and forks from the original title.
Thank you!

This new user is going around resurrecting ancient threads with meaningless posts. Potential spam case?

That's a link to an old search, post a link to the members actual page.
-
• #14015
Posting a link to your search result does not work for the rest of us.

Am I right in thinking PMs used to be shown in full within the body of notification emails, or am I imagining things?*
- Wouldn't be the first time.

No, you're right, it used to be, until it was realised that it's open to abuse (hoax mail making it sound like it's from the person who send the pm).
-

Oh really? That's a pity.

Although that could be addressed.
I found the old system to be much more user friendly.

Naughty
Cheers. Box now ticked. In the past I had gone to the Misc tab and clicked on the Mailing lists option. From there I had emailed the relevant address with the subject line "subscribe" but nothing ever happened... probably because I had the admin email box unchecked.
