  • looks great. How was the cable routing? fishing around in the the bb for the cables is always fun..

Is that the dual position post? useful but the single position version does away with that gap under the saddle (purely aesthetic).

Cabling was a fucking PITA if I'm honest - this version was just before they introduced proper internal sleeves from the TT to the cable stops (though I've had my fair share of problems with internally sleeved frames in the past). I lost a fair bit of skin on my fingers and got through a fair chunk of my swearing repertoire! Cabling around the bb was easy enough with the aid of the old bent spoke/coathanger tool.

The frame came with that seatpost, but it suits me fine as this bike is for TT's as well as crits and shorter, faster rides - so it gives me lots of flexibility to set it up for different purposes. The Rourke is now my long distance ride of choice.

Dan, that thing looks mean! Seriously fast looking.

    ;)

    Looks fast as fuck

:) Initial tests show that it is "slippery as fuck"... Can't wait for it to stop raining so I can really put it through it's paces :) .. I was struggling to keep it under 35km/h on my commute home yesterday, it just wants to go.
