  • Decaleur, Acorn (and Swift I think) have velcro underneath;

    Thought the site still stated that a decaleur is recommended for a very secure fit.

    Or just run a mechanical disc with compressionless, they're just as powerful as hydro.

    I was already thinking of the Acorn Boxy rando.

    Also i'm not changing systems now, money has been spent on the Hope system and I see no reason to change. At the time of purchase there were only limited options for road going cable disc's all of which didn't work well with older SRAM levers - the phrase i heard from a user was 'a constant nightmare of fiddling and tweeking, even with the travel adjusters'

    I'd also have a look in a motorbike store. They may have something you can work around, and most will be very tough and well made.

    The main advantage is that there are usually lots of bags in stock (unlike cycling bags in bicycle shops) so you can actually play about with them. Even smallish ones, like here usually have a decent range.

    Thanks i'll look into that.

    Just get a normal small rando bag instead then, remember you can make your own decaleur, some kind of modification like this;

    I assume you deleted that other comment because you noticed that bag was front opening?
