    They're just too fiddly to put at the back and also they'd be a nightmare to open on the move

    Makes sense. Either way it's a charming colour.

    Out of curiosity how often do you want to access the inside on the move? Would some sort of small pocket accessible from the rider's side be enough. I was just thinking about something like the Brompton touring bag that has little pocket flaps on the back.
