  • There's a creperie in Brixton which has always been vegan friendly (excellent buckwheat galettes which they were happy to fill to order for vegans) but they now have several vegan options on the menu. Well worth a visit. Happy to help organise a meet-up there if enough people were interested.

i've not been here but it looks amazing! there are quite a few vegan options in brixton market (yum d thai, kaosarn thai, ms cupcake, i think the wheat- and gluten-free place has some options, etc) i would happily have a meet-up there.

xsvcx and i went to Pho vietnamese yesterday:

and now (as is my custom) i am going to spam the thread with vegan food pictures. apologies in advance for the massive pictures.

home made gluten- and soy-free pizza (with roasted mushrooms and sweet potato, red onion, rocket and black pepper)

mini banana and chocolate cake hearts

cashew and basil pesto which looks a bit boring but is amazing

black olive and sundried tomato bread (i couldn't decide what i wanted so i made both in one)

pancakes with banana, strawberry, maple syrup and grated chocolate (it was a sunday, i channelled the "treat yo self" vibe)

home made shortcrust pastry tartlets (creamy spinach & chestnut mushroom) w potato dauphinoise (particularly proud of this because it was much more straightforward than i originally planned):

also god bless jus roll for making these accidentally vegan:

sorry about the spam. i just really like to eat.
