Not sure I get this 'one saddle for my track bike' business. I realise a track set up places a lot more pressure on your undercarriage but surely you ride for a lot longer on a road bike, so over time I would've thought the same numbness would show up.
Not for me. I spend very little time in the drops on the road, so the pressure spots seem to be in different areas. With all the different positions, stop/starting, freewheeling, etc. 3/4 hours on a Planet X / Arione saddle is no problem, but an Intermediates session at Herne Hill maybe including 30+ laps constantly in the drops, with a more aggressive set-up, is a different matter.
